Last night was a special night as we gathered in the church office space and engaged with the LORD in an interactive worship experience built around the ACTS model for prayer (of course it’s an acronym). Students were crying out to the LORD and praying for each other as we sang songs that expressed our Adoration for Him, Confession of our sin as we nailed sins to a cross and listened to the pounding of the nails, gave Thanks for ways we have experienced Him, and surrender prayers of Supplication that addressed multiple areas of the students’ lives. As much as I love a good game, there isn’t anything much sweeter than being in a room of teens engaged with the LORD and caring for each other!
ELEVATE Schedule:
6:30 to 7:30 pm – Worship/Study/Small Groups/Snack
7:30 to 9:00 pm – Optional activity to follow each week (we’ll take the bus when transportation is needed)
