Our Elder Team is a team comprised of our pastors on staff as well as volunteer laypersons that are passionate about the mission of the church and its outreach. These men meet with our twice a month to grow in their faith together and discuss church business.

Pastor Stephen Clayton
Preaching Pastor
Becker Evangelical Free Church is excited to announce the hiring of our new pastor, Stephen Clayton! Pastor Stephen joined BEFC as the Pastor for Preaching in 2024. His great passion in life is to see and savor more of God in his word and world, and to help others do the same. Stephen is a graduate of Bethlehem Seminary (Minneapolis, MN).

Pastor Chris Salvevold
Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries
Pastor Chris (PC) joined our staff in 2004 as Youth/Associate Pastor. Chris is a graduate of Northwestern College (St. Paul, MN) and attended Bethel Seminary. He has over 20 years of youth ministry experience and has a desire to see students moved from spiritually disengaged and uninterested to securing their identity in Jesus.

Max Salvevold
Worship Coordinator
Max has grown up attending BEFC. He started serving on worship team in middle school. His love for music and his church are immense, and he is excited to serve and help others know Jesus more intimately through musical worship and serving on worship team.

Children’s Ministry Liaison
Cambria is stepping up as a volunteer leader over the group of volunteers that are joining in to replace Julie in our various children’s ministries. She is a wife and mother of two who has a vested interest in quality Christian education. She started attending BEFC in 2013 and has volunteered in children’s ministry for several years. She loves helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus and sharing God’s love with others.

Amanda has a servant’s heart and loves to help our church family to connect through various media. She enjoys creating brochures, flyers and postcards for ministry needs.
