Here’s a peek at ongoing ministry opportunities with ELEVATE at Becker Evangelical Free Church:
Last night at ELEVATE we honed in on the truth that faith has flesh…meaning…real faith results in taking action. When you are born again through faith in Jesus and commit to following Him as the LORD of your life, you should change. And that change should be reflected in the actions taken and the words spoken.
Jesus didn’t die on the cross and raise from the dead just to secure our salvation in heaven, but to transform our lives and bring about the abundant life He intended for His people.
If you’ve been joining us on Wednesday nights let’s continue to press into the LORD together by digging into His word so the Word gets into us. If you’ve been missing, know that we truly would love to have you!
I’ve attached the document to this e-mail of our summer study guide if you’d like to take a stab at printing on your own. Otherwise…to prepare for next Wednesday, do some digging into James 2:1-13 by following the process outlined on the first page of the booklet, “HOW IT WORKS” (open the file). Write a few things down on a sheet of paper, and then grab your study guide on Wednesday!
Please don’t put pressure on yourself to do graduate-level work! In fact, my hope is that you can walk away from each week gleaning ONE TRUTH about the LORD and ONE TRUTH about yourself in light of what you focus on! Then, when we get together, we will build on what everyone is bringing to the discussion. For many of you, gaining a grip on this process of study (IQA Method) will be a big win!
If you miss a week or feel ill-prepared, please do not hold back from attending ELEVATE! We are looking forward to growing in relationship with one another…and if you’re not there, it isn’t going to happen!
ELEVATE Schedule:
6:30 to 7:30 pm – Worship/Study/Small Groups/Snack
7:30 to 9:00 pm – Optional activity to follow each week (we’ll take the bus when transportation is needed)

-Worship Night will include interactive and reflective moments of worship…not just singing
June 24: NO ELEVATE – Venture2Valleyfair
July 1: James 2:14-26 / Optional Activity: Pickleball
