| As we turn the page from 2025 to 2026 tonight I have one tool I want to present to you that, should you choose to use it, will help keep you focused on our goal to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33) and grow your relationship with Him.
For the past few years I’ve done Bible reading plans through an app, which has been good in many ways. But I often found I would read from the app and not my Bible. So, I’m returning to my PBJ guides (Prayer, Bible, Journaling). Check out the attachment if you’re curious/interested. The PBJ guides include Bible readings from one chapter in the Old Testament, one chapter in the New Testament, and one chapter in a Psalm or Proverb. We hit 6 out of 7 days giving a little grace for that crazy morning/day where your schedule didn’t go as planned. The goal isn’t about getting through the Bible in a year – it’s about having a plan to be in God’s Word so God’s Word is in me. I’ll have copies at ELEVATE on January 7 so you can grab one if you’d like. Otherwise, you should be able to print one yourself.
