ELEVATErs and Parents ~
Last Wednesday we stepped into a new series titled “SIDE BY SIDE”…a series that will have us unpacking biblical accounts of friendship and providing us with instruction on how to be godly-good friends with people. The big idea of last night’s study, based on the relationship of Ruth toward Naomi (Ruth 1:6-18), was that followers of Jesus exhibit loyalty in their friendships.
Our main points last night were:
1. THE LORD PROVIDES IN DIFFICULT TIMES (Ruth 1:5-9)
2. GRIT IS A KEY INGREDIENT FOR INTEGRITY (Ruth 1:10-14)
3. BE LOYAL IN DIFFICULT TIMES (Ruth 1:15-18)
Questions to ask in the car or around the table:
• What might loyalty look like in your everyday life?
• Why might loyalty be difficult sometimes?
• Who can you be loyal to in this season of life? What will that look like practically?
