A typical night at Elevate will include:
-
*A warm welcome by enthusiastic students and adults
*A fun (sometimes twisted) mixer to kick-off our night
*Birthday recognitions (spinning the interactive wheel for a prize)
*Announcements to keep youth informed
*Games that build community and communicate healthy competition
*Engaging worship to celebrate life and to lift up Jesus
*Relevant messages that lift up Jesus and lift up each other
*Small group time to apply God's truth to life and to lift up each other
*Snack and hang-time for continued connection
If you're looking for a place to connect, we'd welcome a visit by you. When it comes to small groups, you can connect with a group that is gender and grade specifc (ie...9th grade guys, 7th grade girls) or go with a group that has someone you know.

Location:
These classes are geared to the student who desires to grow in their understanding, knowledge and love of God. This happens as students participate in the weekly studies, spend time daily in a journal that builds upon the weekly lessons, and as they are encouraged to memorize key scriptures.
Our hope with Disciple U is that kids will not only become more knowledgeable of God's Word, but that they will learn what it means to develop their relationship with Jesus so that their faith is about knowing a Person and not a program.
S.O.S.
With BEFC Youth, S.O.S., which originally stood for nothing other than a simple means of communicating distress, stands for Serving Our Savior. S.O.S. is our intentional approach to providing meaningful opportunities for our teens to respond to the needs of their peers.
Students involved in this ministry have attended Leadership Quest and recieve ongoing training as a leader, and are directed to discover an area of ministry that fits with who God has created and gifted them to be. Our goal is to place them with a coach who will offer support, guidance, and resources as needed to help them develop as a servant leader.
Students interested in serving on the S.O.S. team just need to contact Pastor Chris for an application. Once the application is turned in, Pastor Chris will meet with you to help you discover your fit for leadership.
