1ST ANNUAL BEFC FAMILY CAMP
Dig out your tents and campers and join your BEFC family for our 1st Annual Family Camp.  We will be camping at Big Oaks Campground, located between Becker and Monticello.  We are camping August 27-29.  The cost on average is $20 per night per camping unit.  Big Oaks is a clean family friendly campground that offers shaded camping sites with water and electric hook ups.  Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate.  The sites we have reserved are close to the clean showers/flush toilets.  Big Oaks offers an outdoor heated swimming pool, a separate kiddie wading pool, a playground, baseball field, volleyball courts, half court basketball, and numerous horse shoe pits.  Deadline to sign up is Sunday, August 1.  For more info or to sign up, contact Lisa Bruska.
 
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY HELP
· We are beginning a ministry for children with special needs.  These children will need one on one attention in their classes.  We will need high school youth or adults who have a heart for children to work one on one with these children on Sunday mornings.   Julie Ulbrich will be having a meeting/training session on August 1 immediately after church in room 500 for those interested in helping.  Please contact Julie Ulbrich for more details.
· Help is still needed for our summer schedule for the birth – pre K classes.  Schedules will be at the table by the front door, if you’re interested in helping.
· It’s time to start thinking about fall and the needs we have in Children’s Ministry:
Birth to pre-K teachers
Disciple U - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade teachers
Children’s Church and Club 45 teachers
His Kidz - 2 adult leaders and volunteers for a sub list
 
DRIVERS NEEDED
· If you can transport kids to Quarry Park on Wednesday, July 28 contact Pastor Chris.
· If you have a 7-9 passenger vehicle we could use to transport kids to August Blast  (Aug. 6-8) please contact Wendy Jundt.
 
BENEFIT FOR THE BRUSKAS
There will be a benefit held for the Bruska family on Thursday, August 26th at the Becker City Park from 4-8 pm.  Carnival games, face painting, crazy hair, dunk tank, silent auction, food and a concert by Dennis Warner (author of Beads on One String).  Tickets are $20 a family or $10 a person.  We are in need of silent auction items as well as many volunteers.  Anyone interested or wanting to buy tickets please contact Jill Cook, Mary Larson or Cindy Marholz.

 BEFC RENTAL POLICY
We have a new policy for borrowing equipment from BEFC. See below:
· Each person must sign out the equipment from a staff member using the sign out/in sheet by the calendar.
· Each person must sign the equipment back in from a staff member using the sign out/in sheet by the calendar.
· No one will be allowed to pass equipment to another person.
· If something gets returned broken, the borrower is responsible for replacing the equipment.
· When equipment is returned, it is the responsibility of the borrower to return the equipment to its original place.
· Rentals must be reserved with Wendy Jundt before the date of use.
