Valleyfair
When: Wednesday, June 16
Time: 8:30 am to 10:00 pm
Cost: $25
Registration Deadline: June 13
For middle and high school students.
Open to families! Drivers needed!!
(driver’s ticket is paid for—you pay parking and supply vehicle/gas)
Load/Departure: 8:30 am at Tennis Courts* Return by 10 pm
Bring money for food, OR pack a lunch (we’ll have coolers). Don't forget the sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, towel and a modest one-piece swimsuit. Students will be instructed before departure about check-in location and times with the leaders to make sure everyone is well and accounted for.
Fun Night
When: Wednesday, July 7
Where: Church Property
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
Help us welcome up the new 6th graders!
Come ready for games (think wet, messy and fun).

BEFC Baptism
When: Sunday, July 11
Where: Fallgrens' Home
Time: 5:00 pm
On Sunday, July 11 @ 5 pm at Fallgrens’ home, we will be celebrating the commitments people have made to follow Jesus through the public expression of baptism. A potluck supper and swim time will follow. If you’re interested in learning more about this or participating in the baptism, contact Pastor Chris as soon as possible.
Lake Kabetogama Getaway
When: July 23-25
“Boundary Waters with motor boats”
Cost: $50 (covers transportation, most meals, bait, lodging, boating)

This weekend will be about luring in the big fish and sleeping under the stars while we engage our thoughts on the Creator of it all.

August B.L.A.S.T.
“ loser”
When: August 6-8
Where: Faith Haven Camp near Battle Lake
Cost: $85 ($100 after July 7) - discount available for families of 4 or 5
Open to next year’s 6th—12th graders
We are really excited to bring to you another exciting weekend of worship, teaching, and team challenges that are geared around the theme of “loser” (think biggest loser). We realize that “loser” may not be a word that you hope people would use to describe you, but at august blast this year God is going to show us how being a big loser is the only way to win at life!
The Variety Show is back this year! Acts can include skits, bands, vocal or instrumental solos, illusions/tricks, poetry, etc. Contact Pastor Chris to register your act!
You MUST register by july 7 with a $25 non-refundable deposit to lock in the $85 rate AND get a t-shirt!
You may be asking, “What goes on at August B.L.A.S.T.?” IT’s a weekend retreat meant to unite the teens of ELEVATE before we launch another year! Students are split into teams of 4 to 6 and have an adult team leader. The teams compete throughout the weekend in some zany competitions, reaching for the title of “biggest Losers” (in the best sense of the expression). The weekend includes 3 chapel sessions with worship and teaching, 2 campfires with singing and stories, team challenges through the weekend, devotions & prayer, tubing/skiing/swimming/kayaking on beautiful Eagle Lake, tastylicious food, awesome memories, and more.

Archery
When: Tuesday nights in August
Where: Church Property
Time: 7:00-8:30 pm
On Tuesday nights in August from 7 to 8:30 at our church property, a group of guys will be fine-tuning their sharp-shooting skills with the bow and arrow and will finish the night with a devotion. Outdoor ConneXion Fishing Tourney
When: Saturday, August 21 (registration deadline: Aug 1)
Where: Borden Lake near Garrison
Time: 7 am launch * 1 pm weigh-in
Cost: $40 entry fee per boat—up to 4 people per boat
Tenting the night prior is an option.
Event open to adults and kids. Boats needed!
Prizes: 1st - 40% of fees; 2nd - 25%; 3rd - 10%

We are excited to offer some high-octane events that explode with energy and excitement. And while we do our best to create these events with our students’ safety in mind, we all recognize that accidents happen. If an emergency should arise, we want to be prepared! So… We ask that participants at our events complete a “Parental/Guardian Consent for Medical Treatment & Release of Liability” Form.
IF WE DO NOT HAVE A COMPLETED FORM AT DEPARTURE FOR AN EVENT, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO JOIN US. Get us your completed form as soon as possible!
