INTERESTED IN BAPTISM
At BEFC we practice “believer’s baptism” - meaning:  Upon your profession of faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior we baptize you.  If you are interested in following the example of Jesus in being baptized  contact Pastor Dave.  Baptismal Service will be held Sunday evening, July 11at 5pm.  Home of Tom & Mary Fallgren.  Followed by potluck supper and family swim. 
 
HAITI TEAM 4
Haiti Team four is now complete and will be headed to Haiti in January.  Gary Schendel, Josh Humphrey, Theresa Sieg, Rick Hendrickson, Sheila Scharber, Tressa Kindred, Jason Kindred, Dawn Bengtson, Sam Jundt, Jerry Gudim, Karen Gudim (?), Cherie Van Wingerden Pastor Dave and two from Elim Mission Church in Cokato.  [44 individuals from BEFC have either already gone to Haiti on Team 1 and 2 or will be going to Haiti with teams 3 & 4.]  Why do we go to Haiti?  To advance the ministry of Jesus in Haiti Ministries; to have our hearts broken with the things that break the heart of God; to see the world as Jesus sees it; to frame our world view and to train the participants for the ministry marathon at home.
 
SUMMER HELPERS FOR CHILDREN’S MINISRTY
If you are interested in helping  in the Nursery, 2’s class, 3’s class, 4-pre K class & children’s church during the summer, sign up today at the table by the front door or contact Julie Toedter. 
 
LAKE KABATOGAMA GETAWAY
The Outdoor ConneXion has an exciting outing of camping and fishing planned for the weekend of July 23-25 (note date change)to Lake Kabatogama.  Think "Boundary Waters with motor boats."  While this trip is targeted to our teens we will need a team of adults who can connect with the kids and teach them the ropes as needed.  A significant need is for a couple more boats and transportation.  Space is limited.  If you're interested, watch for the upcoming insert with more details, or contact Ken Schurter or Jay Suhsen.
 
MEN’S SPIRITUAL FORMATION TEAM
Tomorrow night - 7pm @ church office.  There will be a bonfire, please bring a snack/drink to share.
 
FINANCIAL PEACE
There will be no Financial Peace study this summer.  Instead we will be offering this study in the fall.
